With its picket fence and folk country décor this house located in the Village of Intercourse has been called home by Amish and village families alike for over a century.

The Picket Fence Home vacation rental brings the warmth and beauty of this old
world home to life in color and design. Updated with all the modern amenities
of the 21st century there’s plenty of room in this four bedroom home to bring
family and friends. The living room with its old heritage colors and corner
cupboard creates a relaxing atmosphere at the end of a busy day of shopping and
sightseeing in Lancaster County. Meal times are a special treat as you gather
round the large farm table with accompanying bench seat as you take in the
sunrise or sunset.
Sweet dreams are found in any of its four bedrooms. Downstairs find a relaxing retreat in a wrought-iron king-sized bed. Climb the center staircase to three more bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with floor to ceiling cupboards. The two rooms to the top left are a perfect suite. A captured room in the front has sullen tones and rustic wood walls, while the second room is perfect for a group of children with its two bunk style beds. The third room at the top of the stairs with its rustic walls has several beds (queen and bunk beds) with plenty of room to spare. The folk and primitive décor enhance the beauty of this old home. Climb the traditional center staircase to three more folk and primitive country bedrooms. The second room’s rustic, country charm is complete with a queen-size bed and spacious closet. The over-sized, rustic charm of the third bedroom has plenty of space for stretching out with two queen beds and one twin bed. The fourth room is perfect for kids with a twin bunk bed, plus another twin bed. With two and a half bathrooms – large families vacation comfortably in this Amish Country Vacation Home.

Step out the back door and have a picnic barbeque on the back patio while the children play in the picketed yard or just take in the quiet, calmness of small town life. The front porch is perfect for rocking and watching the Amish buggies go by.
